I am considering putting my car up for sale and will be asking top price. The owners register is fully documented will all history recorded. Having owned it now since July 2014, all I have done is perfect it and the spend money this little pocket rocket deserves, quite a lot in fact, considering that it has covered approx 1500 miles in my hands. Main reason for considering the sale is lack of use. Furthermore, having owned Mk1 mx5's prior to the trophy, I still miss the track days and simple upkeep they require, given that they are so easy to work on. Also considering something classic (70's 80's). My trophy has been cherished by the previous 2 owners and absolutely pampered whilst in my ownership. Here is the the info from the previous owner including mine below:

Full Service History with Renault followed by Ktec Racing and Birchdown.
- August 2012. Front Sachs shock absorbers completely rebuilt at BG Motorsport Silverstone with new rods, reservoirs and seals. Around 1000 miles ago. Excellent performance.
- 2 NEW genuine Sachs rear shocks fitted at the same time as fronts refurbished. ( VERY RARE )
- April 2013. Cambelt, aux belt, water pump and VVT pulleys service at Ktec. (500 miles ago)
- 2 x brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 (front) 2 X Pilot Exalto 2 (Rear)
- April 2013. Ktec Uprated engine, gearbox and dogbone mounts.
- New track rod ends and ball joints last year
- Hunter Laser alignment to the factory geometry done about 2 months ago.
- DETAILED

My ownership:

SERVICING UPDATE RE: CLIO TROPHY No.368 - FEB 2015

- Changed Gear Oil (drained golden colour so absolutely fine)
- New Millers 75W80 PREMIUM High Quality TRX put in on the 14/2/2015 (Mileage 58200)
- Replaced both washers as recommended (genuine Renault) whilst having the work carried out
- Car inspection whilst on the ramps - All Ok (Honda Tech)

Gearing was perfectly smooth prior to but feels even 'slicker' now. After reading a post on the forum, I was unsure whether it was changed. Hence the change. No other reason.

CLIO TROPHY 368 UPDATE 12/4/2015:

- Removed standard exhaust mounts (REAR) (still looking like new) and replaced with Powerflex type mounts which are a lot more solid and durable.

- Lubricated / inspected all bolts / moving parts whilst in the air

- Applied WURTH Petrol injection and tank cleaner (mixed with 40 litres of SHELL NITRO+)

- MOT DUE 18th APRIL 2015 - CARRIED OUT with NO ADVISORIES. Mechanics comment whilst looking underneath - "looks like new".

Car is always garaged and left on trickle charge. Has personalised indoor cover too! The interior is absolutely perfect and smells like new, steering wheel like new. Exterior has a couple of stone chips on the bonnet which are inevitable however for a 10 year old car, its in top condition. Washed nearly every other week. Always get loads of great comments from people who know what these little gems are about.

Anyways, as I mentioned earlier, unless I get what I want for the car, I will happily hold onto it and hopefully find time to use it more. I am in absolutely NO hurry to sell.

Based in Bristol. Thanks for looking.

£7000 as stated.

Cheers guys. It really is a tough decision. Car isn't posted anywhere else as I would much rather have someone genuinely interested and more importantly, someone who would continue to keep her in great shape and enjoy it of course. You never know, may change my mind :).

Cheers Miller. Went for a quick spin yesterday which made the decision all the more difficult  Who knows, hence the word "considering" in the ad post. By the way, I will be at Spring Action day this Saturday at Castle combe. If you are about, come say hi!

Yeah must be hard I couldn't part with mine. I wish I could go this Saturday but typically it's my Saturday to work.
