Hi guys

Just wondering if any of you have experienced this with your T.

This video is taken whilst stationary and the noise seems to be coming from the left hand side of the car. It usually starts to happen once the car has warmed up and can be heard most noticeably when parking, travelling at low speeds, etc. I've tested to try and make the sound happen at higher speeds but either it isn't happening, or the engine is at this point too loud to be able to hear the weird squeaking noise.

Any thoughts? I thought maybe ball joints could be the problem?

The car's handling / performance does not seem to be affected at all; the noise is just bloody annoying!

Many thanks
Jack

The car is sitting at 47k miles - would it be ok to just get the ball joints themselves replaced or should I really get the whole arm replaced?

Check the cost, it might be worth changing the lot (I did); it's possible to just change the joints though.

If your doing the work yourself new balljoints are only £20 for the pair. Renault will only sell the whole arm tho.
