Or is the site desperately slow at the moment? I only get chance to nip on in between "working" and it's making it rather frustrating at the moment. Any info appreciated!

it has it's moments, sometimes just making a post takes minutes. Don't know if it's my computer, the connection or the server though.
I'm finding the site desperately slow these days.
Opening this thread took 30 seconds, for example.
I tend to open another tab and do something else simultaneously when looking at this site, just to give me something else to look at, lol.
Edit: and it jammed up completely posting this, 15 minutes later I had to refresh to see my post.

Same here, mine is very slow opening any page at the moment.
not just me then.... something for nik to look into...
At first i thought it was the instalation of the member map, but a couple of weeks ago it got slower and slower throughout the day then went down for about half an hour and came back as good as new so server or something.
Seems to be fine recently.
it's the addition of the shop part that's causing it i think - baffling as to why it's doing it....
