hatch piston things

Does any one else have a prob with this mine seems unable to lift the hatch up at any height .

No. You need a new tailgate damper(s), warranty covered so get on to Renault.

Just phoned my local Renault they said no probs bring it down 10.30 tomorrow .

But when i did get there they had the wrong ones .The tailgate dampers are £180 each for the trophy and £80 for any other Clio .

Doesn't suprise me! As we have the spoiler from the V6, we also have the shorter gas struts from the V6, and I presume economies of scale mean these have a higher cost per unit. Hope they are covered under waranty!
