Hi folks

Just thought I'd say hello.

I'm after getting a car and after my usual intensive research I've decided to make it my quest to get a 182 Trophy. I realise these things are pretty rare and probably only appear for sale as often as Haley's comet visits the solar system but I'll keep my fingers crossed that a bargain pretty close to home appears at some time in the not-too-distant future.

If I fail to get a Trophy - and I concede it's a high possibility - will a 182 Cup Pack offer any crumb of comfort? I've looked at the standard 182 and the 182 Cup but they don't seem anywhere near as appealing.

Cheers!

failing that allvehicles.co.uk talk to steve im sure he can hook you up.

good luck dude

Yo

My main problem at the minute is that I haven't got my own car, so traipsing round the country looking for one isn't really an option. That allvehicles thing looks interesting. What's the deal with that, you just tell them what you want, they find it then you go and get it?

yeah they are about, one on here at mo, if you want one then find one, dont settle for a standard 182, they are fantastic, better than the t most of the time to be honest, but its when you wanna have fun, which is why we buy these cars, the trophy just comes alive. :D

just some of the current ones on Pistonheads for sale, look around and make sure the one you get is feels right for you, test drive if possible although some owners will want proof of fully comp insurance first.

Steve at allvehicles (artdealer on this site) is another place to look, always has them passing through him.

not quite Steve at allvec. he sold over 70 Trophys!!!! and its a really small business the guy knows whats hes talking about, and im sure he could source one for you. na man dont settle, for me it was either a liquid yellow 182 or a Trophy drove both and the T dicked the yellow. yes the yellow is just porn and if im honest i think the reds pretty boring (though its growing on me) but honestly the drive is so, so , soooooo much better in the T.

could say that yer, i think the clutch is lighter too in the trophy, dont get me wrong it still feels like your trying to move a dead horse, and has about as much feeling as most of andy worholes art (next to none), but you point it at a corner and it all makes sense. ha ha

Zoinks y'all. Looks like they're more available than I assumed. This is A Good Thing.

Better get some cash in order and begin the search. There's a couple on Fleabay as well but they're silver... surely that's not right?
