Right, I'm going to take the plunge and list my Ford Sierra RS Cosworth for sale, with a view to buying a Trophy.
It's a 1988 F registration, early "Sapphire" rear wheel drive model (the most desirable drivetrain). It has 98,000 miles and runs standard power of 204bhp. It is diamond white.
After spending a long time off the road, it was restored and put back on the road with the following spec:
Rebuilt engine (less than 400 miles of use since),
No rust,
Grey Recaro cloth interior,
Lots of new/remanufactured/refurbished parts
Standard Ford radio (not working - I think it needs the 3 digit code)
De-locked doors
Will come with 12 months MOT and a service
2 keys
Bad points:
Scuff on front bumper just above splitter (will need to be repaired),
Underside is undersealed (if I was going to keep it, I would get this removed).
Prices vary massively for these cars, but I'd be looking for somewhere in the region of £16,000. That's where it sits against ones in similar condition.
Please PM me with any questions. I'm happy to answer everything.
