Stick it in a vice and turn the original rubber mount around so the two gaps are in the left and right positions instead of fore and aft. Then to further beef up fill the gaps with TigerSeal which costs about £7 leave over night to set, and you have an uprated rubber mount that makes gearchange tighter yet makes car no more harsh.
