I have loved my Trophy for many years but now it is time to sell. Number 370/500. I had a clio expert take a look today and they said it was great to see a totally standard vehicle, an honest car. Serviced annually, recently cared for my M&N motors (renault specialists) full service in...

Clio 182 Trophy Spring Detail (first time rotary)

Spring is here, time to get rid of the swirls from the harsh winter. I’ve used a DAS-6 a few times and achieved reasonable results but now I’ve decided to upgrade to rotary in the form of a cheap and cheerful Silverline. Due to time restrictions and it being my first time I’m only aiming for...

    Small updates to 243

I recently bought some port matched inlets butbefore fitting I spent hours polishing up the out side before fitting. I complemented this with a polished strut brace that really doesn't offer much in way of performance increase but unlike the way it looks. Also did my own tacho change by buying...

#007 whoring it up again + arch detail

Gave the clio a clean today, looks as if the zymol wax is keeping a nice deep glossy shine Some may have seen when I had the timing done that I gave the sachs dampers a quick clean over, well I decided the full arch should be done, especially with the bad weather right around the corner, I felt...

Wheel Cleaning - What do you use?

Hi Guys, I've used various products over the years but what do you find is best for cleaning your alloys? Like my old Cup, i find the wheels on the Trophy very fiddley to clean between the spokes but am reluctant to spray with some of the chemicals i've used on regular alloys in case it takes...

Okay, picked up Trophy 207 a couple of weeks back and today the quest began to make it like new! Now, when I collected it, it was clear...

    Flat Blade Wipers?

Has anyone fitted flat blade wipers like more modern cars have? Specifically it'd be the Bosch Aerotwin ones, but I contacted wiperblades.co.uk who said they aren't made for the Clio II. The confusion comes where I'm sure I remember seeing a picture of a Trophy with some in the correct fitment!

    Honey, I'm Home!

After owning Trophy 452, I'm pleased to be collecting Trophy 207 tomorrow. Extremely excited too! I really regretted selling the Trophy; despite having some other good cars, to me none of them were as special. What's changed in the world of Clio Trophys since I've been away (sold in December...

    4 Point Harness - Fitting?

Just wondering how people have mounted the lap belts for the harnesses in your Trophy's? Its easy to simply drill a hole in the Recaro mounts (or even the floor), but id rather not do that for resale purposes ... I have OMP 4 point clip in ones (with eye bolts) if that helps. Cheers Dave
