    Hi all,

    Does anyone have a contact for the side skirt Trophy decals and the under bonnet slam panel ones.. I'm looking to give #082 some TLC body wise but want to get all the decals sorted before I commit in case supply is a problem..

    Cheers

    Rik

    Hi Rik. Your best bet is Renault themselves. All those stickers are available and have their own part numbers. Paul Temperton on the CSOC on Facebook has always been really helpful.

    The slam panel decal isn't very expensive but the side skirt ones are around £40/45 each. For a cheaper alternative try n2grafix on eBay for them.

    This is where I got some from a few years ago, Ady is spot on and the stickers were perfect. Still got a spare actually.

    Yep I remember Ady from his days on here but the reason I mentioned the OE version is that I heard the copies were not a colour match but willing to be proven wrong and the difference in price is pretty big.

    I got a genuine set tucked away but got a set from n2 as I wanted to colour match my wheels. That reminds me I need to get out and get them fitted.

    i'm pretty sure it's silver. I bought from n2graphix and asked for "silver to match original". Quality is spot on.

    @Rik Perry

    You talking about these Slam Panel Stickers on the grill ?

    One is no longer available from renault (The Longer One Out The Two) and the other is around £2.00 as i have just bought one.

    to get the colour back on the bonnet I have used some red wax, it has worked to some extent but I ended up doing the whole car including one of the Trophy decals so its got red bits on it now. :worried:

    The decal is very absorbent, I think I will try clear wax next but has anyone done the same thing and found a fix?

    Also what colour is the decal, white?

    Side decals are silver/grey colour. What wax did you use?

    Ah I see, that has a colour dye in it which is the problem. I would give Meguiars ultimate polishing compound a try with collinite 476 wax on top for better and more lasting results.
