trophy idling issue

hi folks about an hour ago i experienced something unusual with my trophy, the engine is was cold and hadnt been started say for a good 7 hours, anyway i started the engine and usually the auto choke would kick in and the car idles around 1200 rpm, but on this occasion the rpm was going up and down between 1000 and 1300 and just continued to hunt up and town, anyway i turned the car off and turned it on again and this time everything was behaving normally again

been out in a drive, started and restarted and all is fine at the min

anyone else experienced similar? cheers

Mine does this from time to time. Once the car has warmed up it seems fine.

Not had this problem I don't think but they do sometimes act odd when restarting after use. Not sure why mind!

bloody renaults lol! better renew my AA cover then just in case lol

Very true, I have my cover through Halifax Ultimate reward account - AA too so may be worth a look!

Could just be a rough lot of fuel I guess?

could be the throttle body needs a clean.

Forgot about throttle body, that's reminds me, need to do that on mine!
