Done the following to instead of the present Trophy?

Given it the F1 colour scheme
Had 'Renault F1' sticker on the side where trophy is (not called it the trophy)
Given it a 2.2 litre engine making 192 ish bhp but more torque
Given it a LSD
Given it distictive alloys
Had the plaque on the dash (Jermey Townsend sack whos ever idea it was to have the plaque on the seat, if it was you, 40 lashings)
Sorted out the ride height so it sat lower
And given it a suit carrier under the parcel shelf
Kept everything else the same

If they had id have paid 20k for one.

I'm pretty sure they would have like to..... but that would be far too much develepment cost for a platform which is soon to be replaced imho. A it stands I think they've done a pretty good job.

Having said that, a Clio with a 2.2 engine and an LSD would be some tool..

Given it the F1 colour scheme? Blue and Yellow? No.
Had 'Renault F1' sticker on the side where trophy is (not called it the trophy)? No,Trophy relates to the Renault race series that has far more relevance than F1.
Given it a 2.2 litre engine making 192 ish bhp but more torque? No, that would have required a new engine design that would not have been economically viable, it is after all a limited edition 182, not a new car.
Given it a LSD? Maybe, but it doesn't really suffer from understeer too much and the lack of torque steer is what makes it such a good driver's car.
Given it distictive alloys? Like Gold you mean? Tart. The anthracite ones are great, look perfect with the red and aren't 18 inch for show but 16 inch for handling/ride.
Had the plaque on the dash (Jermey Townsend sack whos ever idea it was to have the plaque on the seat, if it was you, 40 lashings) Maybe, but then it's nice to see it on the way in, not be constantly reminded of it while driving.
Sorted out the ride height so it sat lower? They did and It does. Knob.
And given it a suit carrier under the parcel shelf  In a driver's car? That's what the rear bench is for.
Kept everything else the same? No. Then it wouldn't have the excellent dampers and Recaro seats, the two things that elevated the Trophy to new heights of greatness over the already brilliant 182 Cup. It also looks great with the V6 spoiler.

If they had id have paid 20k for one. No you wouldn't have, you would have kept your mouldy old Williams with it's aftermarket exhaust and crumbling 10 year old tyres.

You missed;

Better brakes over the standard 182, compared to the dampers it wouldn't have cost much to fit a nice set of Brembos with a bit more fade resistance.

Tweaks to the ECU and induction system to liberate a few extra horsies (biggest reason for not doing this was having to rename it 192 Trophy or something silly).

More weight loss - should have fitted an aluminium bonnet as with the 172 Cup and thinner glass, taking the weight down to 1050kg.

Clicked on 22 instead of 2 and read some early posts, this one required a response as it was particularly gash.
