Hi All,

I am looking at having my Trophy serviced and have had a brief look at past mentions of servicing. I bought the Trophy with around 38k on the clock having had the 36k mile service already done. It has now done around 44k.

I have had a quick search in relation discussions on servicing, and I saw Mark Fish mentioned, but I beleived he is based down South.

Does anyone know of anywhere in the midlands that is good?

I have had a quote from Renault UK for £260.00 which including parts, labour and VAT.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

If you follow the clio cup series you will know who they are
They have been looking after my 172 for 6 years now, done all my work on it (cam and aux belts etc . NEVER had any problems with anything they have done for me ever (and I am REALLY fussy about my cars !) great proffesional service no bulls**t or stupid prices .They dont advertise as the racing is there main priority but if you want any work doin they are the best IMO

Ask for lee brookes

worth a trip to see the set up and have a chat you can draw your own conclusion
You wont be dissapointed mate .

Hope this helps

How far are you willing to travel. Birchdown are very good, they are just outside Whitchurch. Northwest Performance in Northwich have also got a good rep on the renaultsport forum.

I'm in Warwick and took the trip up to Northwest Performance for the 72k service and wasn't disappointed. Recommend them in you don't mind the drive up. Great price too.

Fred@BTM knows Renaultsports inside out. The cost of having the aux/cambelts (including tensioners) done is a bargain price of £425

i am probably like most looking at the 5yr service so keeping an eye on these types of posts, and on the face of it £425 for aux/cambelts change is pretty damn good?

maybe i am just confusing myself here as i know from previous posts, BenG for example who went to NWperformance and had a full service and belt changes for £470!

is that a fair comparison are am i just looking at it the wrong way.

I got mine done there for that price. I don't believe you'll find a better deal, and with such a good level of customer service to go with it. I recommend them highly.
