I have a spare set or Sachs dampers. They are quite rusty. I have not tried cleaning the rust yet as I am planning on refurbing then.
I have read on here that rust is common but wanted to know how much is too much, ie how much before there is any permanent damage? Also can do people clean and then send the dampers for refurb or is cleaning the rust off part of the refurb process (at either cornering force or bg)
