Classic Qualcast Suffolk Punch cylinder mower.

Had it for a couple of years and has always performed faultlessly. Anyone who has had a Qualcast will know they are the Rolls Royce of mowers.

I'm selling for spares or repair as last time I used it she coughed, spluttered and cut out. I'm fairly sure the magneto is the problem as I had the carb in bits and it's fine, and you get nothing with a bit of WD40 in the intake when trying to start it. I took the plug out and the plug is damp but only occasionly sparks, and was a bit of a weak spark. Now does not start at all.

I had just had the whole thing apart to clean out all the grass and muck so was generally in good working order. However to get long service it would need a good dose of TLC, hence i'm selling it on a spares or repair basis. It is too good to scrap, but my garage is too cluttered to keep hold of it and add to my "to do" list. (there are 2 broken flymos and a broken strimmer in there too... )

Could be a good engine for a go-kart etc?

Collection from Leamington Spa.

£20.
