New bonnet

My newly purchased trophy (193) has a dent on the bonnet that is quite big, been to the body shop today who said they could straighten it out a little but it would end up with a good chink of filler in it, which i don't want. He said pattern parts are crap so dont use, said the best option was a good any colour second hand bonnet and then they could get it like brand new.

Whats the opinion on this? can you get them from renault still and how much? is a good secondhand bonnet painted the best option?

And if so is any mk2 ph2 clio bonnet ok?

Without doubt a decent used one, I've not noticed them prone to rust so there should be plenty out there. You will get one for about £70 I reckon then a couple of hundred to paint

Yeah thats roughly the price he said. Will go get one weekend then.
