maxogen fitting

hi, picked one up second hand from here and started to fit it the other night but realised the trumpet part wont go past the bulkhead/battery without my having to first remove the battery. did anyone else have this problem? also iv yet to remove the acoustic valve, is this pretty straight forward? instrucions came with it but no pics unfortunately. ill be setting some time aside to do the job from start to finish tomorrow morning. thanks,

Undo the bolt holding the ECU bracket arm and lower the trumpet in from above.

Yes as above. loosen the bolt holding the battery in place and push the battery back as far as it will go, then remove the ECU support bracket and drop it in, it is a very tight fit.

Fitted mine on Sat, with a little telephone support from Ben!

Looks and sounds great! (but not as nice as Ben's JMS / Yozza setup) but much quieter and more suited to an old fart like me :lol:
