Brodit in car phone mount

Wondered if anyone is using the Brodit in car mounting kit as seen in the link;

Want a mount for my HD2 but not sure if this is any good?

Didn't like the idea of my phone in front of a vent for 2 reasons, obstruction and heating up my phone in winter, can't be good for it!
