My boot lid keeps dropping when open so I ordered some replacement gas struts.

I ordered using my reg number but seem to have received just standard 182 struts as they are too long.

The supplier says they are correct for the car but if I give him a part number he will look at it. Can anyone help me out with a Renault part number for the Trophy Boot Gas Struts.

Thanks.

Dammit, should've gone through this forum before ordering a standard clio pair from Ebay!

Well, well, £13 lost and a lesson learned!

Standard Clio ones are far too long, they push the spoiler into the roof scratching the edge of the roof and denting / scratching out a groove in the spoiler, replace them asap!!

You need to order V6 Clio's one when ordering from a dealer. Hmm Hmm * cough cough *;)
But I would'nt do that as there £218.26+ Each. Part number 6020014070
I'd go down the BMW route though mate.

About £45 pair for decent quality pattern parts for the BMW 1 Series bonnet. Much better than trying to hold the hatch open while loading/unloading the boot!
