Been offered some, only 3 months old with PE2 tires wheels have done less than 1k.
£600 recon it's worth it?

As I'm needing new tire soon and I am needing to drop mine off at wheel repair centre again as the lacquer has small cracks appearing.

Plus I have always liked the 2118

iirc mine were just over £500 brand new without tyres around 3 years ago, sounds like good deal to me :)

Not sure on tyre prices, only ever ran R888/A048R on them, around £60-80 I'd have thought?

Looks good Keith, just been speaking to someone who has bought some and they paid same price brand new but with budget tires.

I'm just thinking I'm needing new tires soon, and pay a couple of £££ more and get some new wheels and tires!

I recently bought some 2118s for my 172 cup, I paid £507 for them direct from speedline so I think thats a reasonable price.

What colour are they out of interest?

No that was just for the wheels, I think you can get pe2's for them for about £60 if you look about so i think the price is reasonable.

Spank-it, yes they are very much going that way but I wanted a 15inch wheel for my 172 that was a good strong wheel and also looked nice on the car, I looked at loads of wheels and soon came to realise just why they are so common now.

I have had a few pm's saying about the deal weather its a good deal or not - A few people on the CS forum say its good and other say there slightly over priced - one member said he bought some around oct 10, and paid £560 with PE2's but with VAT up to 20% now there will be slightly more

Dug my receipt out, I paid £493 for my set, direct from speedline
(Well through a group buy, these were at the time custom made in anthracite as they didn't do them at the time)

It was 3 years almost exactly ago, hope this helps you.
