The vast majority of Renault F1 and Williams engineers are British :P
I would say German engineers are definately better than the french overall. The trophy is far better value for money though ;)
I know many ferrari and exotica owners decat their cars.
Are you sure its a completely legal requirement?
I thought it was legal if it still passes the MOT emmisions test and is not excessively loud?
I'm still saving for a Trophy, but after that I will probably be thinking hot Golf/Focus/Megane/Civic//Elise/Small BMW/Audi
To be honest, if I were you, I'd move into start to stock the more "upmarket" hatches like the Golf/Focus and up coming Type R - maybe S3's as well

Do you know how much the standard 182 seats differ in terms of height compared to the standard clio seats that are in the 1.2/1.4/1.6 etc?
We have a lesser clio model in our family - a 1.2 16V. I'm 6'4" and whilst the driving position is ok, heal and toe is virtually impossible.
How do the seats differ in terms of height in the 182 and trophy? Are they much lower and alow more room directly under the steering wheel for heel and...
Thinking of going for a 182/Trophy and was wondering what sort of insurance the younger members were paying.
