Just putting up the info from my mates advert. I can pass on his mobile number if anyone is interested
Well it is time to let go of my pride and joy for the last 4 years. Due to my new job being a 5 minute walk away, owning the Megane R26 is pointless. The car is going through its MOT at the...

Big thing is tyre pressures. The car will feel bouncy and crashy if u don't get them correct. I run 30 on front and 28 on rear. Are the Sachs pinned or unpinned? I'd go to the softest setting
You'll easily get a good one mate. I've been looking at selling mine for something more sensible for motorway journeys so could be tempted to sell the thing. It's just touched 60k miles. Drop me a pm if you like
Chris
oh and ps don't believe all trophies will be owned by careful owners...
The whole reason most go for the scorpion is that it sounds great and isn't boomy. The original system is very bland and characterless. I for one don't want an exhaust to sound like that
Interested in this system however don't want something boomy and drony. If I contact them and request the old silencer will they provide this at the same price?
So, don't seem to be having much luck just now. One of my rear dampers packed in. New Sachs costing £250 from Renault! Rip off but hey ho.
Now another issue that has started is a creaking coming from the front suspension. Only pronounced on full lock at low speeds. Strange feeling through the...
I use mine as a daily:), great little thing. Returns 38-40mpg on a run with cruise set to 60. Seats are great, air con and heating are also good. Ride is actually really positive, mainly when doing speed. On slow roads it can be crashy. I also find the dampers need to be 'warmed up' before they...
Sounds a good one mate. Surely valuing it higher would make more sense? Maybe 5750?
or will the insurance quote be more than if u valued it at 5500? Not sure how these valuations with insurers work
I believe using the softest setting has a negative effect on the dampers/ride comfort.
i spoke with a guy who knows his suspension inside out and adjusted mine to the firmer setting which matches the springs and stopped the bouncing completely:)
