Easily recognise sold items .........

Is there a way to grey out parts/cars once they have been sold or put a 'SOLD' watermark behind the title ?.

That way you could still browse the post but you would know instantly if said item was still available or not.

Of course I have no idea how technically involved this would be so just an idea

or once the item was sold the owner of the thread could simply close it

Thats how it works on most forums

We could close the thread but that would stop future posts when the car came for sale again - some owners may or may not want this of course....

or

the seller could ask, if they couldn't do it themselves, for the thread to be marked as sold (i don't like editing posts unless there is good reason.)

You can asign admin rights in say the forsale forum only

This meens the user that started the thread can also close it ... So he can close when its sold and then say re open it if its up for sale again
