:( But t-cut is horrible stuff don' use it, get down to halfords and get some meguires Scratch-X. Also they are doing a megs/autoglym BOGOF at the moment.
Most of the evidence seems to suggest that these units push out 165 standard, obviously. At the fly figures are fairly inexact but yours does seem high, to believe it you have to explain how two engines the same can produce such different results. What was your torque figure btw?
Useful info, though mine seems to be bearing up quite well at the moment.
Really don't like what they've done to the 5GTT but fortunately more and more seem to be being put back to original.
Do the passenger side(second set of pics) have as much of a gap between the remote and the arm that it's attached to as the first set.
You will probably not be able to see any wear on the ball joints without dropping them out.
I might be tempted to bite on these but the price is a little strong when for an extra 50 i can pop down the road for some new ones. You can Pm me what you may accept
In terms of extras/features the T and 182FF are very different beasts so if do a little more research on what you want from the car. £6500 will get you a T but add another five hundred and you are likely to have a choice on lower mileage models. Also you are very unlikely to pick up a 182FF on here.
Not so much that. It was the inference that it was somehow the cars fault! I had some sympathy to begin with it was an expensive mot but I feel most sorry for the poor sod that ends up with it.
The thread was originally called "My Trophy failed me" and very simply described how it had failed its mot and that she was going to trade it for a vx because of this. The fact that it failed on front tyres and lower ball joints two fairly basic items subject to everyday wear seemed a concept...
Why the total cop out by deleting the whole of your original overlong and whinging post. I think the next owner might appreciate knowing that he has lower ball joints that a wouldn't fit on a childs toy let alone something that's capable of way over a hundred.
Hi Andre, the guy you are talking about is called Luca and his user name on here is Oxygen. If you send him a personal message I'm sure he will be able to answer your questions.
His site is something like www.cliotrophy.ch
Yes its my understanding that the tubing is to stop them from clunking and it is available by the meter. Ill be trying to fit it soon, lots of lube involved probably.
Um, don't understand this. You started the thread and let it get away, there are 6 other people who have expressed an interest apart from marrow, that must be enough for some kind of G/B.
65 Quid
That's incredibly good value (won't say cheap) for that amount of work. I do my own, very slowly, and I think i'd want more than that to do it if I paid myself :?
Nice work tho.
