No need to cry about it mate. Wasn't attacking you personally.
I am helping (not that anyone could help much) by telling everyone the alternator is not unique on the Trophy

Well... whatever... I've been on here for so many years I've seen enough people write the words Trophy headlight, Trophy dash, trophy cigarette lighter and whatnot in this forum...

Seriously though... "Trophy alternator"? Haven't heard anything so silly in all the years I've been on here and cliosport! Lol

FFS what is it with this forum? Does everyone think every part down to the wiper arms are exclusive to the Trophy?
Most parts on a 182 are common across the Clio range let alone the Trophy!

Can any used car dealers or someone with an economics degree shed any light on why our used cars are so cheap in comparison to those on the continent?

I've sold a 182 some years back where a chap travelled from France to buy it, the prices we practically give em away for its no mystery

1) package it well and use parcel2go to compare and save
2) I used Simon at cornering force, top bloke, always answers the phone, did a top job and when I had problems with one of the dampers he was quick to resolve it, which is when you get a true reflection of what a company/person is about...
In Horley, Surrey right next to Gatwick airport, otherwise I work pretty much all over south London and can drop them around there somewhere

These were specified for Trophy Sachs when ordering, but obviously they also fit 172, 182 and 182 Cup pack suspension

These are in OK condition. They have no kerbing AT ALL.
However they are still the standard factory finish from speedline, which is not the most durable.
The tyres are in really good condition and probably have atleast 3 trackdays left in them depending on how you drive.
I've found they seem to...
