Price drop by £50.
So, that's a great, recently refurbed set of front Trophy dampers, and nearly new rear dampers for £650.
OR
Dampers and BRAND NEW Sportline springs and camber bolts for £775.
You can buy some secondhand dampers for a lot less, but factor in a minimum of £500 refurb costs...
Hi James.
They are brand new but I realise I will have to let them go for less than I bought them.
I'd start off at £130 posted. This is only if somebody doesn't want them with the dampers though.
Thanks
Al
I am selling a full Trophy suspension set up, with recently refurbished front dampers.
This set up will fit a 182 Cup, a 182 with Cup Packs and the Trophy.
I bought the dampers off a guy on Cliosport last July. I have not even fitted these to my car as I have been preoccupied with another...

Cool, I think that is good advice.
I'll just start with some Sportlines then, rather than jumping in with a different set up.
Just out of interest, how stiff should the front dampers be? I have them unfitted at the moment and can't get the piston to move one bit with all my weight leaning on...
I've just completed the 1st stage with my plans for my 182.
I've fitted 15" Superleggeras on fresh rubber. The difference in ride quality around town is really noticeable, so much better. I can't vouch for changes in handling/grip etc but pretty confident the lower unsprung weight will mean all...
So will the MF springs be the preffered option if I want a drop too?
I've searched for photos on here and some cars on MF springs do seem to look noticeably lower than standard....
That's great, thanks for that, exactly the sort of thing that helps make decisions, Cheers
So, based on your set up and experience, there would be no value in the Koni adjustables or the MF springs.
Will the Sportline springs lower the ride height much from standard Trophy?
Hi, I have owned a Cup packed 182 for over 4 years now, determined to keep it as long as possible.
Always kind of wished for the Trophy set up so I have just invested in a full set of Trophy dampers.
I was wondering what you guys could recommend to get the set up correct. Lots of advice already...
They look great, Evo say they are epic and are probably a pretty good long term investment.
Too rich for my blood, and with kiddie on the way, just not possible anyway.
How different is the chassis to a 230 R26?
You can certainly add some lightness to one of those to get halfway to the weight...
Has anyone had one painted? do they take much prep over a standard bonnet?
I'm interested in them from a weight saving perspective but it would have to be painted body colour.
Next time you hear it, stick your head under the bonnet and see if you can locate it more closely.
Is it a regulare tick?
If not, it could well just be the sound that all engines can make as oil and water have been circulating, causing expansion, and then contraction in your pipes and waterways.
I have been with Admiral since owning the Clio. Last year they seemed to be the only company still offering a reasonable premium when the car has been modified.
Anyone else worth checking for a modified car?
I don't own a Trophy, but a 182.
I am obsessed with weight saving, and the Clio is actually the heaviest car I own.
Sound proofing is only really possible by adding mass unfortunately. Dynamat and the like are all heavy materials.
I have used 1 product on another car which is lightweight and...
182 FF with Cup suspension. Currently fitted with Eibach proline springs.
Car is used 100% on roads, no track days.
I know there are a lot of coilover choices but I still hear that the Trophy set up is awesome on fast, twisty roads.
Is this same price available to the 5w - 40 viscosity as well by any chance?
Missed the last deal and I am getting car serviced at the end of next week so would appreciate a discount
Just looking into some new tyres. Was just going for a straight swap and fitting more Michelin Pilot 2's but availability is poor.
Vredestein have been winning tyre tests for a few years so thought I would have a look. They do a Sportrac 3 in the correct size and V rating. I can get them fitted...
