The return on investment angle is an interesting one and part of the debate I've been having with myself as I consider another. If I still had mine:
- £7000-ish purchase price from memory (2009)
- Conservative £1k per year in running costs (insurance, servicing, tax) = £12k total, not including...
I wonder how much these values are driven by the pandemic. There's very few coming up for sale - maybe people are holding on to them for investment reasons, or maybe they're waiting until lockdowns have lifted. Obviously it's great as an owner/seller but it's really frustrating as a buyer...
