    Scorpion exhaust problems

I was driving back home today and decided to take the long route along the b class roads for a bit fun... which turned out to be a nightmare as my scorpion now has a huge hole in it, just after the back box exhaust mount. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any information would be appreciated.

BG Damper Rebuild - compression adjuster upgrade. Worth it?

Hi - my dampers due to go in at BG on October 31st. Getting the struts power coated too. It's expensive enough already (and have been happily buying other bits for my new car without keeping an eye on what i'm spending!) - and adds another £170 to the bill. Has anyone done this, and if you...

BMW M6 to Clio 182 Trophy - some practical questions

It might seem like a bit of an odd swap (long story), but I'm on the cusp of selling my 08' M6 and looking at some alternatives. I nearly bought the original 172 but got a MINI instead, and have always had a hankering for a RenaultSport Clio. But got some boring questions as the M6 wasn't the...

My 182 ff "trophy" from Germany

Hi Guys I infected with the Trophy-virus since the T came out. As you know buying a T was impossible in Germany. So since I purchased my full fat and cup packed 182 in 2008 with 15.000miles on the clock I was looking for a proper T-Sachs-Suspension. I bought one in December 2013 and sent it...

    Ad08

Anyone using AD08's as their every day tyre. How do they cope with cold and wet compared to the PE2's. My PE2's are getting on a bit now, they still have a fair bit of tread left but the rubber feels like it has gone off a bit. The car feels really loose compared to last winter. Maybe just a...

How long do you intend to keep your Trophy?

I've had #455 for nearly two and a half years now. It was my first hot hatch and I fell instantly & deeply in love with the well-matched performance & handling. I always said it's a car I'll have forever, but more recently I've started thinking maybe it's time to move on and try something...

    bye bye Trophy

I sold my Trophy (023/500) last month. I was the second owner and I live in Halifax. The first owner lived in Crewe and that's a spit and a stride from where its new, 3rd owner lives. So it's gone back home, as it were. I loved it but ran it as an everyday car doing short journeys around urban...

BC Racing Coilovers & My Trophy

When one of my Sachs failed recently I was in a real dilemma over what to do. To have them refurbished is the best part of £500 just for the front two shocks and there’s no real warranty on the repair. Combine that with the horror stories of people having them refurbished just for them to either...
