Quite loud, and that's with the road legal baffles in. I don't exactly know how many decibels it puts out so whether it's trackday friendly we'll have to see.
The only problem with the Indy circuit is that you only get 2 left handers and the rest are right handers which I thought wouldn't be great for balanced development?
The thing is.......I'm not sure which way round I should do it.
I was thinking I should do level 1 first in a controlled environment where the instructors are making sure I'm applying the basic fundamentals which hopefully, in theory, should make my first full trackday away from the school a...
I only passed my test at the start of January so I'm still learning the basics!
I have plans to do all 4 levels of the California Superbike School starting with level 1 at Rockingham in July hopefully, and also do the Bikesafe and IAM Advanced course at some point this year, so I have a busy...
Thought I'd visit the site again as I keep seeing someone's Trophy whilst on the train.....brought back memories.
It's been almost a year and a half since my Trophy got written off and I've since sold my Focus RS as I got bored of it and got a new toy
Check out the pics, what...
I have a parcel shelf gathering dust from my Trophy which was written off last christmas and thought I'd put it here on the off chance someone needed one. It's in perfect condition and the only reason I had it out of the car was to create more luggage space.
£20 just to get rid before I ebay...
Iv'e no idea, sorry. I know that both nearside wheels front and back were severely buckled from possibly hitting the kerb, so it's quite possible. Sorry I can't be of much help to you :?
Just had the Goodridge lines and AP Racing Dot 5.1 fluid put in and the braking stops you like a mofo! Nearly headbutted the windscreen yesterday...wearing a seatbelt of course!
Now I just need to get the discs skimmed as there's a slight lip on the front ones. The Bailey dump valve greatly...
Just got the replacement for the Trophy yesterday. 20k miles on the clock and paid £14,750 from a trader completely factory standard. I feel guilty for saying it but it's better than the Trophy in every aspect in my opinion:
The clutch pedal is harder, the brake pedal is harder and has...
Brand new locking wheels nuts from Halfords for the Clio 182/182 Trophy, may fit 172/172 Cup. Handy if you've lost the original locking wheel nut key like I did. £20
Since #230 has gone bust I now have 2 PE2's that I don't need. £140 ovno for both to be collected in the Redhill area (coz I can't be arsed to mail them). PM me if interested. If not, then I'll give Cliosport.net a go.
Cheers
As much as I try to convince myself to go the Evo/Sti route I'll always think they're ugly and heavy-ish cars, and money is a limiting factor for me as they're both insurance group 20 and have awful mpg consumptions. Unfortunately, there aren't any other 4wd/Rwd cars that I desire or can afford...
Now that the red beast has died (see R.I.P. #230 post in clio discussion) I've got my eye on a Ford Focus RS.
On looking through tuning mags such as Performance Ford I noticed that a number of people have tuned their RS's to 400bhp and beyond, however, their 0-60 times haven't improved in...
I don't have any way of putting the pics on the website at the moment.
The other guy suffered a broken jaw and possibly a broken nose aswell as far as I know, and his car was a lot more worse off than mine. I should think there'll be a court case coming up soon.
I've now decided to get a...
Number 230 is sadly a write off.
The story:
Christmas eve at 8:00pm I was travelling South on the Brighton Road, Purley, Croydon with my sister and had just come through the lights at the junction of Old Lodge Lane (some of you might know it). On approaching the speed camera some F*****...
Just got 2 brand new Michelin's from MyTyres.co.uk and popped down to my local RSR Tyres branch to get them fitted where they told me that I needed the locking wheel nuts and key to get the wheels off. Fair enough I thought, and after much searching I've realised the Trophy didn't come with them...
