I have one fitted it fits, looks and sounds the business..
I had the exhaust fitted locally and the guys at the garage gave it the thumbs up for sound, its not as loud as yozza and from what I can make out its more like the RS192. I'll be honest and say going from a standard 182 exhaust to this...
I am currently on £540 fully comp 3 years ncb at 23, renewal in March will £460 with 4 years ncb or nearer £600 for 4 years protected ncb which might be worth me paying the extra #-o
same problem here, I replaced the front lambda sensor for £60 and after resetting the light using the obd2 reader and it has not come back and my mpg has increased a fair amount.
I used the car for the first time since the snow started (2 weeks) and I had the engine management flashing for...
Copied this off of cliosport;
Some of you may remember my original thread asking if I should buy a certain high mileage trophy that was used as a company car, long story short I did and got it at a good price .
Finally got her up and running so I thought I would post some pictures.
It's been...
It wont make a difference to the clio as you won't reach the maximum speed ;), I had trouble getting hold of the V rated PE2's so opted for the W.
V is rated at 149mph
W is rated at 168mph
I've already asked and it has indeed finished #-o , RS192 exhausts are only sold by yatesandbloomfield who are an internet only/mail order company.
Not sure if they would be up for another groupbuy as i'm sure 10 could easily be achieved soley on here let alone cliosport
just grabbed a large can of hammerite smooth silver, small can of smooth red and brake cleaner to paint the calipers while i'm waiting ;)
lucky I found 2 wire brushes, 6 packs of sandpaper and 3 tins of grey primer in the shed now thats a bonus ;), as for the damper cost see the rebuild thread...
Hi,
Just got my sachs back from being refurbished and I would like to repaint them as they have a couple spots of surface rust (unsuprising really). Anybody done this themselves? if so what did you use and and how did you do it?
Cheers
I knew I forgot to ask something #-o , I will find out tomorrow, i would imagine so as they are a proper motorsport outfit that do work on various formula 1-3 cars etc but you know what they say about assumption ;)
looks superb mate, loving the ITR aswell is that an import as its a facelift?
I'm liking the plans for it also as they are very similar to mine as soon as I get it back on the road that is!
Just to give you guys a quick update on my situation,
I will be picking up my refurbished dampers tomorrow after dropping them off 4 weeks ago mainly due to having custom seals made and the fact hes just come out of hospital didnt help matters. The good news is that the grand total for parts...
the outcome is its a bloody nightmare getting people to do things on the cheap, they are still awaiting delivery of the custom seals and I cant get hold of them on the phone argh! was hoping to get the trophy up and running next week... looks like another week waiting around
bg may be...
wow  , they are VERY impressive mate, they suit the car so much better than the factory set(s)! its just a bugger that you have to fill in the holes on the tailgate
but congrats they look superb =D>
awesome car you have there mate, colour isnt my thing personally as I am a racing blue man but RS's and ST's are meant to be larey!! 8)
I bet its awesome to drive, how is it in the wet?
as for mpg I think the old saying ignorance is bliss is the best practise
I agree Cue as my trophy is proof that mileage cannot be used as an indication as to when they need re-sealing and gassing, from checking through the history the dampers on my car are original from factory and have not been refurbished/replaced and they have lasted 165k!!
