Pretty much, although top mounts have been removed due to the type of driving I've been doing in the last year - mainly commuting etc. Top mounts imho for track use only.
Yes lowering springs work nicely.
My best advice would be to get Mark to set-up your cars geometry adding some extra...
I'm still around and still got the Trophy.
It's been a crazy year for me with the launch of i4detailing etc. Not even been on track this year
Best to ring Mark for prices and products offered, I did have all the prices listed in the garage feature but I don't think thats still...
George K, what cams are you running then that you can't feel any improvement?
Are they the mild Catcams, as I've been told that these are almost the same as standard?
Loads of good products about, depending how how bad the marks are, although working by hand will take you ages. Is it the whole car that needs doing?
Would recommend you buy a decent DA buffing kit with polish or get a professional to sort it for you.
Let me know if you are interesting in...
Both Henks off the shelf 98 ron map and the custom maps perform better then the Superchip.
My car now absolutely flies :D
I also prefer the cold start program on Henks map.
I did but I've had my top mounts removed as currently doing about 10 hours of commuting a week. Will pop them back in again once my driving requirements change.
Just had my camber increased a bit more to- 2.5 degrees, currently running the fronts on 23 clicks and the Koni rears a tad firmer...
Received back today via email my final custom map from Henk, after finally sending him back another log file.
Installed the map for my drive home back from work today and the car absolutely flies, very impressed.
Spent the weekend polishing the Trophy, have been meaning to combat the swirls ever since it came out of Renault for some warranty work (forgot to ask them not to clean the car with a gritty sponge).
Not the best weekend, as I had to keep dodging all the rain showers . Had to finish up in the...
How are you finding the top mounts?
I've found that they have stiffened the front of the car quite a bit, as you say a maybe a compromise too far for general road use?
Spoke to Mark about this and he suggested that I would need to wind my front dampers down a bit. Have been playing around...
At 51K you Trophy is nicely run in.
Just dug out my old rolling road map from Surrey Rolling Road & at 5190rpm mine was making 160bhp at the fly (this was before inlets, maxogen and RStuner map).
Will run the analazer this weekend and report back, but your Trophy sounds very healthy!
I've still not had a chance to play with the analyzer tool yet or even send Henk my data log for my custom map - hopefully this weekend.
135bhp at the wheels = approx 167bhp
A std 182 with decent mileage under its belt should produce 144 at the wheels (179bhp ie 182ps).
What's your...
Yes they attached to your std pressure washer and come with the option of the following adaptors; Karcher, Kew, Alto, Lavor, Kranzel and soon Bosch.

After a summer of track days using Mintec M1177 race pads I was under the impression that I would have to get my front wheels refurbished as they were in a right state.
Anyway I used that horrid wheel cleaner from halfords called Wonder Wheels. This is probably the highest acid based cleaner...
She's now pin sharp on turn in. There a quality piece of kit which Mark has been testing over the last two years. Elimates sideways camber movement.
Other suspension mods include custom spec Eibach lowering springs, un-pinned front dampers, Koni rear adjustables and camber adjustment.
I used Bright Wheels, sprayed it on and left it for a few minutes and then hosed it off with the pressure washer.

The weekend started with a visit to Mark Fish to have the solid top mounts fitted that I had ordered last year but had only just got round to getting fitted.
Mr Fish (for those who have never met him).
The top mount.
Sachs dampers removed.
Holes drilled.
Top mount...
