Are the top mounts the same as a non Trophy?
Part number, 543A09780R.
Is it deemed essential to replace top mounts and bearings when removing and refitting struts?
From experience the bearings always fall to bits if they have been fitted for any amount of time.

I didn't have much doubt they were genuine my concern was they were used and or refinished! Thank you for your advice, I will see what I can do.

Personally I'd re stripe it!
If it was an addition that was made to the car out of the factory, yes it would be 'chavvy'. However given the stripes came on the car, I think they are a cool addition and finishes the car off perfectly!

Actually there was plenty of interest! Thankfully; to finalise this thread the house move went much smoother than expected and a sale wasn't necessary, although it was worthwhile to consider this as an option and gauge interest had the worst arose!

Trophy 87,000 miles potentially for sale. Immaculate with all original features. No MOT test failed on Front Coil spring broken (a little chip out of it) and horn not working! I cannot afford the upkeep as I am currently going through a house move and would hate it to go down hill from here...
Moisture on the clutch plate could be a possible cause it did enter my mind. Come to think of it there is always a smell of gearbox oil in the garage but no visible leak; it is possible that gearbox oil could be contaminating the clutch plate! Thanks!

It is your right, very tidy little motor unfortunately need the cash a little more than the car! Done a few bits and bobs to tidy it up since his ownership including a full detail and brakes!
