Drew,
Sorry to hear that the T has to go due to bad times at work. Even though I got rid of N0. 440 a while back I know how you feel. I lost my job just before Christmas and am struggling to find another. And now another one of the Congleton (and district) Trophy owners club bites the dust...
Delongi,
Thanks for the info. That bit about the ride being less harsh than the Trophy and coping with uneven surfaces better is exactly what I wanted to know.
I notice that you couldn't resist the CL10 number plate!
Cheers.
Can anyone tell me what the ride is like on the 200 Cup?
I've read that the Cup set-up on the 200 is harder than it was on the 197. Some articles that I've read and some road test vids that I have seen say that, realistically, it's too hard for everyday road use.
Is that the case :?
Trophy sat at the lights on Rood Hill 7:10 am waiting to turn upbank towards A34 North/Macclesfield. I was in a Black Ibiza Cupra coming up from Shell station, and turned down into town.
A little story for you Trophy boys (and I promise you that its true)
When I got my renewal notice last year I checked quotes through confused.com and the cheapest quote was from the company that I was already with, but was over £100 lower than they had asked for renewal.
I went to the...
Yes, I know that. Thats why I said that the booklet says 2 years in my first post.
But when the "expert" was asked whether the interval had changed from 2 years to 1 and why, he replied as though he knew what the questioner was referring to, he didn't deny any change and didn't confirm that...
I just spotted this on the Renaultsport forum "panel of experts" bit:
Eldorado asked: 182 service
Am I right in saying that my 182 clio needs servicing either every 12k miles or every 12 months? If so, why was this changed from every 24 months? Isn't a service every year a little excessive...

I kerbed one of mine and got it repaired by ChipsAway. The guy did a superb job and the repair is invisible.
Some people seem to think, however, that a bloke in a van can't possibly do a good job and prefer to buy a new wheel instead, so it's up to you.
I suppose it depends on the amount...
Found this on Pistonheads:
Foreign Buyers/Agents
The most common scam attempted via the internet is of a foreign buyer or agent wanting to buy your car or bike despite not having seen it. They say they'll agree to the asking price. The details of the scam vary, but usually start with...
As duffer said, this scam has been around for ages.
It's been discussed on loads of different car forums.
These e-mails are just sent at random to anyone who advertises a car for sale on the web.
I'm guessing that you haven't read the manual then, especially the page where it tells you to jack up the car before squirting in the foam, with the wheel turned so that the valve is at the top
(the little ClioSport manual that is, not the big ordinary one)
If you modify your car in any way they jump to the conclusion that you are a boy racer, and that you are likely to plough through a group of schoolkids on a zebra crossing at any minute.
Please don't get me started on Insurance companies, we'll be here all day.
Did I tell you about the...
