Hey
Its lightly abraisive so good for many different tasks. The cleaner fluid is great for swirls etc, but combined with the tiniest amount of mechanical paint, its amazing for marks, scratches etc.
Good luck for the MOT. My wife's RB182 just passed the other week:)
The bumper is a sod to keep clean. As in my other post, that was the spot that got hit with bird poo and did some serious damage. Got it out eventually but after only owning the car for 5 weeks, I wasn't best pleased.
I've just got a nasty bird poo stain out of the 200 and the only thing that worked was Swissvax's cleaner fluid and mechanical paint combined. Simply is the most awesome stuff I've ever used (borrowed off a mate). Wish I'd used that when I had the T.
Can't recommend it highly enough mate.
The Trophy is an awesome car and deffinately something you should own at some point in your life. Having had one for 2.5 years (sold it Tuesday), it was the best car I've ever owned over 19 years, however my 200 is a different beast all together so almost hard to compare now.
Depends what you...
Yeah its like Renault world outside at the mo;)
IMO the 200 is smoother through the rev range but may come across not quite as nippy. Its more solid all round, handles perhaps "better"?, but gives a better ride. The recaros are amazing and the gearbox is the best I've experienced out of all the...
Hi mate
My wife prefers the RB cos of the ride comfort. Sad to see the T go but the 200 ticks all the boxes for me now and I'm lovin all the gizmos it comes with.
Well until the new owner collects his new Trophy tomorrow evening, eh Dave;)
Shame we can't afford to keep all 3 (my wife's is the RB), but I'm chuffed to bits with the 200 and I know the T is going to a good home.
Was supposed to be forever but buying a 200 last weekend changed all that. Sold it to a guy called Dave off cliosport on Tuesday who should be collecting it within the next week, so I've managed to keep it for 2.5 years. The longest I've ever had a car and it will be missed but time to move on.
I think that was the one I went to look at a couple of years ago at SMC in Godalming. Guy wouldn't let me test drive it unless I was absolutely serious about buying it. Thus with that attitude he lost a sale.
Well the Clio 200 finally won me over and its time for a change. Didn't think I'd ever sell up, but such is life:)

05/55 Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy
No. 433 of 500
£7,000
Only 52k miles, excellent all-round condition. MOT to October 2010, tax...
Well have to say I'm truely blown away by how good it is compared to my old 197. The steering is sharper, the handling is fantastic, gear box is the best renault gearbox I've experienced so far and the performance is superb.
Don't have a bad word to say about it tbh and its deffinately in line...
No offense but that still overpriced. I just bought my wife a RB 182 FF with cup packs. 44k miles, scorpian exhaust, FSH, cambelt done etc. Mint condition for £5300.
Cool mate.
Yeah it's deffinately smoothed the power out nicely.
My wife has a racing blue 182 FF with cup pack (no remap) and you can deff tell the difference
