I disagree. I know I do not own a Trophy, but a 182 with CUP packs & having previously owned a EP3 & DC5 I say there is very little in it until 3 figure speeds between the 192 & EP3, after that both the Honda cars would walk away.
It is the opposite when cornering comes. My EP3 didn't not feel...
Was it an owner from here?
You came along with your little lass in the morning (She was very sweet btw) & collect alone in the arvo.
I was the lad that was dropping off the RB182.
Is your exhaust the Orb? It sounded subtle, but very nice as you left.
Still won't be as good as the FD2 equivalent imo.
The front wings are a nice addition, but the dash & arse of the car are still a mess.
Why not purchase a really clean Pre-face lift DC5 & spend 5K on it & it would disappear from this & still look fantastic.
Have a look @ Hondas-on-track.com
You can book North Weald days through them ALOT cheaper than anywhere else.
And yes believe it or not plenty of different cars run with them.
I've done it 3 times with them now & can not fault it, learnt plenty about the 182 too.
Steve is right it is...
It is don't put your foot on the accelerate until you know you don't have to take it back off
As others have said try some instruction or an airfield day. Nothing to hit & plenty of space to try different approaches.
My guy didn't have of the any horse shoe looking clamps, so undid my existing clamp, held the cat & cat-back pipe higher & re-tightened the clamp. It's definitely raised the cat. My middle hanger looked like it had seen better days so I'll get this changed once my axle stands come through...
Sorry to interrupt the thread, but the join on my cat is poor too (Still on OEM exhaust) & might take a trip to my tyre/exhaust gent this arvo to try for one of those clamps to help rectify it. So thank you for sharing peeps
Very tuneable actually. A Gruppe M induction kit will probably see a solid 10BHP top end gain along with usable torque.
Expect more in the mid-range.
Then there is KPRO, different exhaust manifolds etc etc.
