Thats just anal IMO , ive had my clio since new 2005 used it daily in Scotland rain ,shine and snow and thats mine just in for there first refurb this week . Stop worring about the suspension and enjoy the car the way its meant to be ......

Heads up for any scottish owners ,Just ordered rear sachs dampers , rear 182 cup springs , front eibach springs and top mounts for my Trophy from Renault in Stirling , Ask for Ryan , he beat every price i had got , even good old Renault in Wolverhampton . He done me a very good price on parts...

I spoke with some dutch guy at the renault sport specialist garage in pollockshaws in glasgow and he advised that if the shocks are not leaking there is no need to refurb them . Ive called every renault dealer in central scotland today compairing prices for getting the timing belt kit done...

Price includes the plate "T26PHY" which i have been offered £500 for to sell on its own , and its booked in for the belts ,service and mot tomorrow at a cost of £750. Not much point making an offer the price is £7650 and ill not be dropping it especially after the cost of the service...

Car is booked in for the belts,service and MOT tomorrow , i see 1's with 60k for £6500 on autotrader ,that and the fact its a rare car up here , i think ive seen 1 other on the road in the 5 years ive had it . Personnally i think its a steal at that price ,but if it doesnt sell ill just keep it...

without sounding ignorant did you even read my first post ? who ever buys it will be the 2nd owner, serviced at the correct intervals as per service book ,not due the belts yet and never had any probs with suspension , my mrs used it to get to work and go shopping dont think shes revved it...

Mrs is defo going to miss this car , she just told me she will cry when she sees it go :( Needs must though :wink:

Hi there , Time has come for us to part company with trophy 481, my partner just had a baby and we need something bigger . We bought the trophy from new in sept 2005 and registered it with Reg "T26PHY" it currently has 27500miles ,1 lady owner , full service from renault , its had new discs...
