hi everyone

just found this forum while searchin for trophies

currently own a mk1 172 (my baby) and mk1 V6 (boyf's car)

we are in the process of thinkin whether to sell V6 for a 182 trophie but need to no pro's n con's of them

personally i prefer the mk1 interior to mk2 but luv the trophie seats but its a hard decision to make especially when its the V6 but its not really a practicle car thats the main reason for thinkin of sellin

opinions would be appreciated

It must be a difficult decision to make. The V6 is a special car no doubt, but if you could do with the extra practicality, and fancy a change, I'm pretty certain you wont regret swapping for a Trophy.

I had planned to keep my Mk2 172 for another year, then buy a Mk1 V6, but when the Trophy was released I changed my plans. I'd still like to own a Vee at some point, but i'm positive I made the right decision.

its hard to find a garage in the area with one in so we can see one properly

Where abouts are you from?

I'm sure theres probably people on here local to you who'd let you have a look at their Trophy.

Ooh if you get a rophy your bloke will get the hump cos you can kick his ass in it on a daily basis :twisted:

Surely you should be pushing to upgrade your 172 to a Trophy? I went from a mk1 172 to the Trophy, and it was definitely the right decision!

Whilst the Trophy is a great hot hatch, I don't know if I would swap a V6 for one, the V6 is a truly unique and special car. :)

Edit 1 - Just seen the V6 is now up for sale...Good luck finding a Trophy!

Edit 2 - Just seen the 172 up for sale as well! What's going on? :shock:

Both r up 4 sale now

172 is to be changed for 182
V6 is to be changed to trophy

V6 is no good need a more practicle car for work etc, proper gutted love V6

ha ha would be cool but i dont think its normal
i want find a 182 with trophy seats tho dont like the standard seats
If my car doesnt sell i will happily just keep it and not change
